This course is devoted to not only Covenants in the Bible, but also covenants as instruments in the life of a people. Our focus, however, will be on the Covenants in the Bible as expressions of God’s will in the life of his people, first, generally, to and among the Hebrew people, and two, among the Christian people from the time of Jesus Christ to today.
The principal lecturer is Louise Clayton, a graduate of the Rhema Bible Training College in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and her husband, Larry Clayton, Professor Emeritus, History, University of Alabama. Some of you may be among the thousands who passed through his classes in Latin American History and the History of the Christian Church between 1972 and 2013.
