Covenants in the Bible from God and What They Mean – Bible Study Tools
•There are several covenants in the Bible, but five covenants are crucial for understanding the story of the Bible and God’s redemptive plan12. These are:
•The Noahic Covenant
•The Abrahamic Covenant
•The Mosaic Covenant
•The Davidic Covenant
•The New Covenant
•The Hebrew Bible also makes reference to a number of covenants with God, including the Noahic Covenant, as well as a number of more specific covenants with Abraham, the whole Israelite people, the Israelite priesthood, and the Davidic lineage of kings3.
